Yes, I'm starting a new blog. I tend to do that every once in a while, when I realize I have things to say that don't fit with my other blogs. In fact, that's what this blog is all about: random stuff that doesn't fit in any of my other blogs all over the web. Hence the random-type name, "Bionic Yoghurt." Don't stress, it'll be a fun blog. In fact, in order to help you avoid stressing, here's my first handy and helpful post, all about how I deal with stress!
It can sometimes feel like you are responsible for the trials and tribulations of every individual on the planet. This emotional strain can be unbearable. That's the weight of stress, and at that point you need effective ways to rid yourself of that stress, and to start to feel better.
You should discover your main causes of stress, and find out methods of eliminating or reducing them as much as you can. For instance, if you have a friend who continually creates unwanted stress and drama in your life, find ways to distance yourself from that relationship. By minimizing your exposure to highly stressful people or situations whenever feasible, you are taking great strides in improving the quality of your life and quite possibly, your health.
Keep a stress journal. Keeping a journal will allow you to identify the causes of your stress which you can then find ways to avoid. When similar situations arise, you can refer to your journal for coping techniques you have learned in order to break those patterns.
You can also reduce stress by listening to music. Soothing music has long been known to reduce stress and aid in relaxation. Just be sure to choose music that really suits and soothes you. Listening to music you like will cause your brain to release serotonin, which will make you feel calm and happier.
In order to avoid stress and anxiety, it is important to learn how to stay organized. When people can't find an item that they need or want, they often feel anxious. If you get organized, then you won't have the worry of losing something and will be set to face whatever task arises.
Try a quick and powerful workout to immediately counteract the affects of stress and anxiety. You can relieve stress by doing something as simple as taking a walk.
Take a deep breath before you react to any stressful situation. Take a deep breath, clear your mind, and then continue with dealing with the situation. This deep breathing technique can help you to center yourself and refocus your attention on the most logical course of action.
At times, when you are out and about, you could possibly be moving a little too fast or thinking a little too fast. You need to make sure that you slow down and breath deeply so that you can keep everything in perspective. You should try limiting the number of times you are rushing throughout your day. This will help keep your anxiety at bay.
These are some of the things I use to manage my stress level. I hope they help you with yours!
